Equipment

After two years of traveling through the Middle East and Africa, and the defeat of 20 000 km, we decided to evaluate our equipment. Underneath you can read from what we set out on this journey, and what's in it worked and what did not.
BIKE
Bike on a journey through Africa should be simple, powerful and easy to repair. We do not recommend any facilities such as shock absorbers and brakes, because on the route does not have places where you could possibly be such a thing to fix, or buy spare parts. Our bikes are "folding", made up of parts that seemed to us to be the most appropriate for this trip. Below detailed list. We present it to show that bike for such a trip does not have to be of the highest quality components, or does not have to be expensive.
